Well what can I say about little old me?! Old, well yes I guess you could say that. Although I still feel like a girl, I’m 38 years old (just) and have just recently been diagnosed with breast cancer.
My hope for this blog is that it will provide a story of my journey and that in some way it may help others who on are on the same path. Why were we chosen? Who knows. I do know that this b@stard has picked the wrong person to start a fight with!
Hold on peeps, the rollercoaster ride is in full motion and has taken a few scary loop the loops already. Here’s to a nice big fat ice-cream at the end of it! : )
I get sick on rollercoasters … but I’m here till the rides over and I climb out of the seat and puke up over some poor bastaads shoes:). Great idea Miff. I’m checking my boobs as I type, which is difficult, cos it means typing with one hand:)

Your blog is so inspiring and I love the quotes of encouragement throughout. So glad you made it through! Looks like you have a supportive husband too. Isn’t that what it’s all about. So many days I am at peace with the thoughts of my family and husband (who had cancer) and our love for each other. It’s more important than anything!

That’s very kind of you Patty, thank you for taking the time to stop by. I am very blessed to have such a supportive husband. My family and friends have also been a life line to me. Yes I agree, experiencing cancer certainly makes you look at life through different eyes and appreciate the things that matter.
